Two lecturers and students of the Faculty of Da'wah and Islamic Communication (FDKI) conducted a ccollaboration of International Community Service activity with the Faculty of Multidisciplinary and Sustainability Studies i-CATS University College on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 13-14, 2024 at Kampung Sungai Lumut, Kuching, Sarawak. They are Dr. Hj. Siti Malaiha Dewi, S.Sos., M.Si., CIQaR, the Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Islamic Communication and Dr. H. Ahmad Zaini, Lc., M.S.I, the Vice Dean I. The students team consisted of Muhammad Syaihuddzikkri Amin (Islamic Broadacsting Communication Study Program), Izmi Nur Annisa (Islamic Broadcasting Communication Study Program) and Sajjana Ayyidan Nauroh (Islamic Political Thought Study Program). In the International Community Service activities, the team of the Faculty of Da'wah and Islamic Communication provided assistance in the intelligent use of social media and socialized about the application of Health Heroes Nutrihunt.

The community service activities were warmly welcomed by the people of Sungai Lumut, Sungai Batu and Bedawun Villages. The activity began with a speech by the Head of Kampung Sungai Lumut, Suhaili bin Mahaji, followed by a speech from i-CATS represented by Abang Mohd Heikal bin Abg Othman as Deputy Director of Sustainable Community Transformation Centre. Meanwhile, a speech from Faculty of da’wah and Islamic Communication, IAIN Kudus was delivered by the Dean, Dr. Hj. Siti Malaiha Dewi, S.Sos., M.Si., CIQaR. The Health Heroes Nutrihunt app is an app designed to check the nutritional composition of snacks by scanning the barcode on the package. On the app's home screen, users will see a star rating; The more stars we earn, the better the quality and safety of the snack consumption. After that, users can access the details section to see the complete list of food composition of the snacks that have been scanned. This application is developed by the Government of West Java Province collaborating with the central government of Indonesia. The presence of this application aims to support a healthy lifestyle with better management of food consumption. At the end of the community service, the Head of Kampung Sungai Lumut and the Head of Kampung Sungai Batu hoped that similar activities can be held in the future, including the Adoption Program of community service (SMD, AZ & MSA).
